After the typhoon cleared, Mukuraf in Shinnobashi, Koto-ku, Tokyo, stayed open on a breezy Wednesday and reported plenty of seating.

The day's new tap is Asahi's premium pilsner `Jukusen`. With three hop additions, low-temperature processing, and longer maturation, it is set up as an easy first pint or a clean finishing beer. The tap list also includes Minoh Beer's `グレフルサワー`, Hansharo Beer x Kyoto Brewing's `いざ果敢` Belgian Tea Wit, Onidensetsu's `スイートストロベリー` Fruits Ale, and TAROS BREWING's `WRATH OF THEM#2`.

The bottle selection is broad: GreenNeighborHardCider's `HARUKA SINGLE VARIETAL`, `CITRUSwithCALAMANSI`, `LA FRANCE`, `ALL.十八種のりんご`, and `SOUR`; Uchu Brewing's `KONBINI IPA`; Ground Tap Brewing's `TSURUGI` and `TARUMONJI`; WestCoastBrewing's `PassionWizard`, `Hop Fua`, and `Starwatcher`; CollectiveArts' `BetweenThePalms`, `RubyStriker`, `GrapeCalamansiSour`, `SummitPeak`, `GoodMonster`, and `RansackTheUniverse`; plus VERTERE's `Vespa` and `Heliconia`.

The food menu is equally beer-friendly, with tomato nikujaga omelette, soupe de poisson, charred eggplant carpaccio, marinated bonito, and a spicy eggplant-and-chicken curry. Takeout and seat reservations are available, so the place works for a single pint, a bottle purchase, or a longer meal by the Sumida River.
