Mashiko Beer Trail to Connect Four Venues on October 10–11
Mashiko Beer Trail will take place in Mashiko, Tochigi, on October 10 and 11, 2026. Featuring nine breweries and 16 food and lifestyle vendors, the event will connect four venues—including Mingel Farmhouse beer&bread—through a walkable craft beer experience.
A walking beer trail through autumnal Mashiko
Mashiko Beer Trail is scheduled for October 10 and 11, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both days. Nine breweries from Tochigi and beyond will serve beer, joined by 16 vendors offering food, books, vintage clothing, mountain gear, and more.
The event links four venues within roughly a 1-kilometer area: Starnet Zone, Komine-gama/nagi, Mingel Farmhouse beer&bread, and Tsukamoto Hontaku. Rather than concentrating everything in one location, the format invites visitors to walk through Mashiko’s autumn scenery while discovering local food, crafts, shops, and beer.
Three breweries at Mingel Farmhouse
Mingel Farmhouse beer&bread, home of Mashiko-based brewery Mingel, will host Mingel alongside Bluemagic from Utsunomiya and Pirono Beer from Koriyama. The venue will also welcome People Book Store from Tsukuba, Mews Used Clothing from Utsunomiya, Okonomiyaki ARIGATO from Moka, and Zofang Chi from Mashiko. EAZY PIZZA will appear on October 10, while Younobi will join on October 11.
Mingel brings a local perspective to the trail as a brewery rooted in Mashiko and centered around beer and bread. Visitors can expect the venue to offer more than a tasting stop: it provides an opportunity to experience how craft beer fits into the town’s broader food and creative culture.
Shuttle bus service from Mashiko Station
Visitors arriving by the Moka Railway can get off at Mashiko Station and use the shuttle bus running between the station and the venues. The round trip costs 200 yen, with services planned between the 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. hours to match inbound train arrivals. From JR Utsunomiya Station, take a Kanto Bus from west exit bus stop 14 for approximately one hour, get off at Mashiko Sankokan Iriguchi, and walk about five minutes to the venues.
Further updates on vendors and event details will be announced through the official event account. For beer lovers interested in exploring Mashiko at a relaxed pace, this trail offers a chance to pair local scenery with a varied lineup of independent breweries.
