Ehime-based DD4D Brewing has announced a new collaboration with the smartphone game Azur Lane. The release is "Royal Navy (West Coast IPA)," one of the title’s 9th-anniversary beers. The beer is inspired by Scylla from Azur Lane and is built around Nelson Sauvin, with Riwaka, NZ Cascade, and Motueka also in the hop bill.

At DD4D’s booth, visitors can find draft beer, canned beer, gelato, and collaboration goods. Draft beer buyers receive a limited collaboration sticker, and customers who buy all three canned beers, two of each, receive three character stickers while supplies last.

DD4D Brewing, based in Matsuyama, Ehime, is known for beer projects that cross over into fashion and wider pop culture. The brewery has continued collaborating with Azur Lane since 2023, and this marks the fourth installment. Label design is credited to @shigenori__nakamura.
