A seasonal beer rooted in Mitaka

OGA BREWING COMPANY announced on Instagram that `Mitaka IPA ~Hervest Brew~` is now on tap. According to the post, the beer uses 2026 fresh hops harvested from a hop field in Mitaka City. The brewery says the beer offers a fresh, green aroma.

OGA BREWING is based in Shimorenjaku, Mitaka City, Tokyo, and operates a taproom alongside its brewery. On its official website, the brewery presents core beers such as Mitaka Pale Ale, Mitaka Wheat Ale, and Kichijoji IPA. It also highlights the M.C. series, which uses agricultural products from Mitaka, as well as collaboration beers.

This latest release fits the brewery's approach of expressing local character through beer. Alongside its regular lineup, seasonal brews like this give drinkers another way to explore what Mitaka-based craft beer can taste like. For anyone who enjoys fresh-hop character, this is an especially timely release.
