Opening from noon on September 19

Craft Beer Server Land Akasaka-Mitsuke, a beer pub in Tokyo’s Akasaka district, has announced that it will begin service at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 19, 2026. The venue is located in the basement of the Akasaka Gessekai Building and offers a rotating selection of beers on tap.

The opening tap announcement features two beers: Himitsu Beer’s “VS” and Sapporo’s “Edelpils.”

Himitsu Beer “VS”

With an ABV of 6.5%, “VS” is a Soba Ale from Himitsu Beer in Mie Prefecture. Product information describes a recipe featuring buckwheat, fig, and sudachi citrus, with savory, dashi-like nuances. Its combination of roasted grain character, fruit, and citrus makes it an especially distinctive beer to explore with food.

Sapporo “Edelpils”

The second new tap is Sapporo’s “Edelpils,” listed at 5% ABV. Its crisp profile and hop bitterness offer a classic pilsner-style contrast to the more unusual, ingredient-driven Soba Ale.

The pairing gives visitors a chance to compare two very different expressions: a distinctive Japanese-inspired ale and a clean, bitter pilsner. Tap availability may change, so guests should check the pub’s latest updates before visiting.
