Craft Beer Kitchen Kokoronotsuki, a beer pub in Miyakawacho, Naka Ward, Yokohama, updated its tap list for Wednesday, August 12. The shop opens at 3 p.m. that day, and the lineup covers six different beers with a wide range of styles and flavor profiles.

The list includes Seapine Brewing's "Blackberry Gose," Flora Fermentation's "Benfinita," Hoppukotan Brewing's "Pollux," the newly tapped "Red is the Crime of Sake" ("紅きは酒の咎"), Garden Path Fermentation's "Ron's not Bitter," and Hoppukotan Brewing's "One Lap Behind Yuzu-in Ver." Together, they offer a mix of tart, fruity, hop-driven, and malt-forward beers that should make for an easy tasting flight.

The new beer, "紅きは酒の咎," is described as a Rothbier inspired by the traditional lager of Germany's Franconia region. According to the post, it uses German hops, Hoppukotan Brewing's original HKB001, and Sorachi Ace from Kamifurano, aiming for a beer with rich malt character and a clean herbal hop note.

The pub also frames the experience around beer and Chinese food, mentioning dishes such as steamed chicken with sansho pepper sauce, mapo tofu, Shanghai-style fried noodles, shrimp mayo, and shumai. It reads like a place built for pairing carefully chosen draft beer with a relaxed meal in the Noge and Hinodecho area.
