Craft Beer Bar & Bottle Shop Progress is a beer pub and bottle shop operating in the Musashi-Kosugi area of Nakahara Ward, Kawasaki City. On April 15, it is open from 4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., and today's tap lineup has been announced on Instagram.
The first beer that stands out in today's lineup is Harvest Moon's "Schwarz." It is introduced as a black lager with the toasty aroma of roasted malt, yet one that can be enjoyed cleanly even on warm days, and its alcohol content is 5.0%. The calm drinking character typical of a dark beer can likely be enjoyed along with its light, easygoing finish.
The other new tap opening is Mugi Zakkoku Kobo's "Rustic Saison." It is a saison made with rye from Ogawa Town, and is said to have a solid grain-derived flavor nestled within its rustic character. This one is 5.5%, and the Brewer's Note describes it as `Saison w/ Rye`. In addition, Mugi Zakkoku Kobo's "Zakkoku Weizen" is also on tap, making comparison tasting another highlight.
The shop's information says takeout draft beer is 20% off every Wednesday and Thursday. You can bring your own growler, and cups and PET bottles are also available inside, making it easy to stop by empty-handed. Growlers are also sold, the outdoor seats are pet-friendly, and the cashless-only payment policy makes it a spot worth remembering as an easy everyday hangout.
