DD4D Brewing, based in Matsuyama, Ehime, has announced that it will exhibit at the 9th Craft Beer Festival in Matsumoto 2026. The festival is scheduled for September 19 through 23 at Matsumoto Castle Park.
DD4D Brewing began in 1998 as a select shop in Matsuyama and expanded into brewing in 2019 with a brewery inside its store. In 2021, it opened a second factory in the Mitsuhama area. Since then, the brewery says it has released more than 300 beers for markets in Japan and overseas, while also working on collaborations across apparel, sports, and film.
The Matsumoto festival is known for bringing together breweries from Shinshu and across Japan in a setting close to the historic castle grounds. That combination of location and lineup has made it a staple for beer fans who want to experience a wide range of craft beer in one place.
For DD4D Brewing, the event offers another chance to present its beers beyond Shikoku. The lineup for Matsumoto will be worth watching closely.
