Wolfbräu, a brewpub located in Shuri, Naha, will host “Wolfbräu’s Oktoberfest” on Sunday, September 20, and Monday, September 21, 2026.
The featured beer is Fest beer, which will be tapped especially for the event. Wolfbräu plans to serve the freshly brewed seasonal beer from wooden barrels, offering guests a festive presentation alongside the brewery’s own beer.
Food offerings will include sausages and sauerkraut, as well as German stews. On September 21 only, special food from @manger.kafu will also be available. The malty character of Fest beer should pair naturally with hearty meat dishes and the refreshing acidity of sauerkraut.
The September 21 program will also feature the Shuri Jazz Festival. Live jazz will be performed at Wolfbräu from 5:00 p.m. Admission is free, and tips for the musicians are welcome. Performances are also scheduled at Shuri Castle Park’s Shurijo-kan at 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m.
