Crowdfunding for “Dream & Hope presents Oktoberfest 2026,” an event hosted at Rusty Nest Brewery in Oamishirasato, Chiba, has entered its final three days. In an Instagram post published on September 27, the organizers renewed their call for support and explained the broader purpose of the project.

The campaign began as a way to support the Oktoberfest 2026 event scheduled for October 3. However, the organizers say their goal extends beyond making a single event successful. They hope to create new connections across Kujukuri by bringing together craft beer, surfing, surf skateboarding, music, food, universities, and local residents.

The post thanked everyone who has already contributed and shared the message, “Everyone who cares about Kujukuri is a main character.” It also encouraged people who have not yet seen the project to visit its CAMPFIRE page. According to the organizers, sharing information about the initiative can be just as meaningful as making a financial contribution.

Rusty Nest Brewery is located near Shirako Beach in Oamishirasato. The brewery grew from an effort to regenerate a former seafood-processing facility and turn it into a place for community interaction. Its official concept focuses on connecting the area’s ocean, nature, food, and people through craft beer. The adjoining Rusty Cafe & Bar serves Rusty Nest beers alongside selections from other breweries, as well as food inspired by the local area.

With craft beer at its center, Oktoberfest 2026 brings together the coastal culture and community of Kujukuri. The final days of the crowdfunding campaign offer beer lovers an opportunity to support a gathering designed to create lasting connections beyond the event itself.
