At craft beer "Extra Hop" in Oita City’s Chuo-machi district, two fresh beers have been put on tap.

The new lineup is:

- Minoh Beer / Pilsner
- Harland x BottleLogic / Superphonic

Minoh Beer’s Pilsner returns as a standard beer for the first time in two years. In the post, it is described as having a reliable, stable flavor, making it a straightforward choice for the first pint of the day.

The other beer, "Superphonic," is a limited West Coast IPA brewed as a collaboration between Harland in San Diego and BottleLogic in Anaheim. The owner says both breweries were visited last February, which gives this tap update a personal angle for regulars who follow the shop’s beer selection.

Extra Hop is a beer pub on the first floor of a building in central Oita, and it leans into both daytime drinking and evening drinking. The post also notes that food is limited because the shop is run solo that day, that it closes from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., and that it will be closed on July 4 for the owner’s live performance. Electronic Oita city premium shopping coupons are accepted as well.

With one classic pilsner and one hop-forward limited IPA, the update gives beer drinkers two very different reasons to stop by and see what is pouring.
