"BEER & MUSIC Cafe Raisendo" in Ibaraki City, Osaka, announced its draft offerings for today as of May 16. True to its name, a neighborhood beer pub that puts beer and music front and center, this latest lineup again brings together tap beers with clearly distinct styles.

The star of the day is Baeren Brewery's "Mai Bock." A German-style bock with a springlike feel, it is a beer to enjoy for its solid depth and richness. Following that is Ise Kadoya Brewery's anniversary beer, "Sake Lees Hazy IPA ZAKU Shinryoku : Hazy IPA," which pairs the nuances of sake lees with the fruity character typical of a hazy IPA.

Also on offer is Mikkeller x Minoh Beer's "Ume-chu ≪ Mikkeller Beer × Minoh Beer ≫ : Sour Beer," a sour beer defined by the sweet-tart flavor of fully ripened plums. Iwate Kura Beer’s "Raspberry Pink : Fruit Beer" is a fruit beer that puts raspberry character front and center, making it a good choice for a day when you want something light and easy to keep drinking.

For the regulars, the Czech "Draft Pilsner Urquell" and SAPPORO BEER's "SORACHI 1984 : Pilsner" were also announced, leaving nothing to be desired for lager fans. In addition, the future lineup was previewed with "Osaru IPA : Golden Ale IPA," "SOUPY WEIZEN / Weizen," "Colonia : Kölsch," "Passion Wheat Ale : Fruit Wheat Ale," "Oyster Stout : Oyster Stout," and "Tsunagu Beer : Session Lager."

On the food side, the menu includes tagliatelle with ragout sauce, chicken liver simmered in wine vinegar, assorted smoked items, cabbage in a sauerkraut style, zangi, and meat-loaded pizza, among other dishes that pair well with beer. It is a very Raisendo kind of day, letting you enjoy both the breadth of the taps and how well they match the food.

The shop is also scheduled to mark its 19th anniversary on May 18, and it has announced a thanksgiving event from May 22 to 24. With the anniversary approaching, this is one to keep an eye on, including future tap updates.
