GROW BREW HOUSE Sets Up at Sakuratown for Golden Week and Holds Texas BBQ
The brewpub GROW BREW HOUSE in Nishikawaguchi announced its Golden Week plans on Instagram. Sakuratown Beer Fest, Ikebukuro Living Loop, Texas BBQ, and an open brewing session are on the schedule, and the tap list features six core beers.
The brewpub "GROW BREW HOUSE" in Nishikawaguchi, Kawaguchi City, Saitama Prefecture, has shared its operating schedule for the Golden Week period on Instagram. In addition to beer served inside the shop, the lineup includes appearances at outside events, a BBQ project, and even an open brew day, making for a holiday schedule that craft beer fans will want to plan around.
The first thing that stands out in this post is the "Sakuratown Beer Fest," taking place on April 25, 26, and 29. The event brings together breweries from within Saitama Prefecture, and the post notes that cash cannot be used, urging attendees to bring a credit card, electronic payment options, or a transit IC card. It's a compelling mix of the pleasure of drinking craft beer outdoors, easy access, and event-savvy operations.
Next, on May 2, they will take part in "Ikebukuro Living Loop." This event gathers food stalls and workshops around Green Boulevard, offering a chance to catch GROW BREW HOUSE beer in central Tokyo.
Then on May 3 and 4, they will hold "Texas BBQ in Grow" at the storefront. They plan to source 10 kg of wagyu shoulder belly and prepare brisket, cooking it for about 10 hours. Doors open at 3 p.m., BBQ service is scheduled for around 5 p.m., and if there is any left over, it will be served the next day too. For anyone who wants meat with craft beer, this is a very obvious holiday headliner.
On May 5, 6, and 7, "Craft Beer Open Brew Day" and "Grow Curry" are also planned. The open brewing session, which starts at noon and requires no reservation while welcoming helpers, is suited to people who want to see not just drinking but also the making process. Watching the brewing while snacking on curry and waiting for a freshly made beer is exactly the kind of experience that only a brewpub attached to a brewery can offer.
The tap list in the post features six beers with distinctly different personalities, very much in the GROW BREW HOUSE style. From fruit-forward beers to strongly hopped IPAs and a high-ABV barley wine, it's a lineup you can choose from to match the holiday mood.

What makes this announcement stand out is that it goes beyond a pint at the Nishikawaguchi shop and extends across events, BBQ, and brew-day viewing. GROW BREW HOUSE's Golden Week is presented not just as a place to drink beer, but as a way to experience everything around the beer itself.
