A joint tasting event from Miyagi and Tochigi
La Cachette in Kagurazaka will host the “Ishinomaki Hop Works & Romantic Village Joint Party 2026.” The event brings together Ishinomaki Hop Works, based in Miyagi Prefecture, and Romantic Village Brewery from Tochigi Prefecture.
Ten taps from each brewery are planned, for a total of 20 craft beers. The specific beer list is still being finalized, but the event will offer a chance to explore both breweries’ beers in one place and compare their different brewing approaches and regional character.
Free food and free-flowing beer
The party will run from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on both days. Admission is ¥7,000 per person, including free food and free-flowing drinks. Payment will be accepted in cash on the day. The organizers plan to secure enough beer for both dates, and solo guests are welcome.
Advance reservations are required. Because the event will occupy the venue, La Cachette’s regular service will be suspended on November 21 and 22.
La Cachette is a Kagurazaka beer pub known for rotating taps featuring craft beer from across Japan as well as beers from around the world. With counter and table seating, it offers a relaxed setting for a focused brewery showcase. The final 20-beer lineup is yet to be announced, but beer fans can reserve their preferred date and look forward to discovering bottles—or rather, taps—from Miyagi and Tochigi side by side.
