Abuden Brewing, based in Tochigi City, Tochigi, announced on Instagram the upcoming “TOCHIGI CRAFTBEER FESTA 2026.” The event will run from Friday, April 17 through Sunday, April 19, and will be held at Light Cube Utsunomiya. The announcement signals the arrival of the spring event season for craft beer fans both inside and outside the prefecture.

In this post, the brewery highlighted the expanded number of participating breweries as one of this year’s main attractions. A total of 15 companies will have booths, consisting of 13 makers from Tochigi Prefecture and 2 importers, making this the largest event to date. It was also revealed that two new breweries from Tochigi Prefecture will be joining, showing the growing breadth of the local craft beer scene.

The festival’s annual “Craft Beer Challenge” will also be held. According to the post, this year marks the ninth edition of the event, and one of four beers selected in collaboration with RADIO BERRY will appear as an original RADIO BERRY beer. Visitors should be able to enjoy the wide variety of personalities gathered at the venue through tastings and side-by-side comparisons.
