Abuden Brewing is the brewery launched by Abuden Miso in Kaeemoncho, Tochigi City. The parent company dates back to 1781, and five buildings on the premises are registered tangible cultural properties. The brewery uses a historic miso-storehouse setting to produce locally rooted craft beer.
In its September 1 Instagram post, the brewery said canned beer can be bought at Abuden in Kaeemoncho and suggested it as a gift or a thank-you for drivers. The post also mentioned lighter menu items such as sashimi konnyaku and miso cucumber, showing that the taproom is designed for beer and snacks together.
The flagship beers are Kuranomachi Lager and Kaemon Ale. According to the brewery's official information, both use Tochigi-grown two-row barley and a small amount of miso. Kuranomachi Lager is presented as a crisp pilsner, while Kaemon Ale is described as a balanced pale ale with a steady malt and hop aroma. The cans are also sold in 3-, 5-, and 8-can sets, making them easy to take home or give as gifts.
Abuden Brewing stands out for combining Tochigi's historic streetscape with a brewing style shaped by miso and local ingredients. That mix gives the brewery a clear regional identity.
