Oyoroko Brewery, based in Mizuho Ward, Nagoya, will appear at the "Craft Beer Fest" held at JR Nagoya Takashimaya. The event runs from April 22 to May 5, and the venue is the B2 floor Western and Japanese liquor section directly connected to Nagoya Station. It will be an opportunity to encounter the brewery's beers amid Golden Week shopping traffic.
The post says that Oyoroko Beer was selected for this year's festival, and the booth is being presented with both self-treat and souvenir demand in mind. In addition, Goto Sommelier's tasting-sales dates have been announced as Friday, April 24, 10:00-20:00 and Monday, April 27, 10:00-20:00. A key feature is that visitors can ask on the spot about flavor characteristics and food pairings.
Oyoroko Brewery's official website says that its sommelier members, French chef, and head brewer taste together every month while refining the flavor. That emphasis on pairings with food seems to fit well with a department store's Western and Japanese liquor section. This exhibition can be seen as an effort to deliver the brewery's idea of a "time of joy" in an easy-to-grab form during the season when gift demand rises.
