Kamogawa Brewery

Kamogawa Brewery is Kamogawa's first craft beer brewery, located inside "Kamogawa SEASIDE BASE," which opened in April 2023.

Right, it's a complex facility that brings together a bakery, a cafe, a seafood beachside diner, a fruit sweets shop, and more, built along Maehara and Yokosuka beaches. Being able to drink freshly brewed beer on a terrace with a panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean is already unbeatable.

The concept is to brew carefully while listening to the sound of the waves with silver brewing equipment. There are three signature offerings, starting with "Seaside LEMON." It's a fruity, refreshing beer made with Boso-grown lemons, and it's approachable even for people who don't usually like beer's bitterness.

Next is "AKATEI ALE." It has a crisp taste with refreshing aromas from yeast and hops. And "Kamogawa IPA" is a hazy-style beer with restrained bitterness and a juicy finish. All of them feel designed with drinking by the seaside in mind.

It's also available as a furusato tax return gift, so you can drink while supporting Kamogawa City with a three-bottle set. Kamogawa has plenty of seafood too, so you can enjoy the luxury of drinking beer with hamayaki and rotisserie chicken as snacks.
