Inage Beer to offer takeaway sales during the Inage Sengendori Festival
Inage Beer, the brewery pub in Chiba City’s Inage district, will sell beer in a takeaway format inside the shop during the Inage Sengendori Festival on July 14 and 15. Sales will be timed to the festival’s evening and daytime hours.
According to Chiba City, the Inage Sengendori Festival will be held around Inage Sengen Shrine, Inage Sengendori Street, and the pedestrian paths around Inagisuna Park, with about 500 stalls expected. In 2026, the event runs as a pre-festival on July 14 and the main festival on July 15. On both days, closing preparations begin at 8:30 p.m., and the lights go out completely at 9:00 p.m.
Inage Beer Brewery Pub is located on Sengendori Street between JR Inage Station and Keisei Inage Station. The brewery serves around eight house beers brewed on site and has built its business around the local Inage area of Chiba City. In this post, the brewery announced that it will switch to takeaway-style beer sales inside the shop during the festival.
Sales are planned for 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on July 14, and from around noon to 9:00 p.m. on July 15. The setup lets festivalgoers take home the brewery’s beers while moving through one of Inage’s busiest summer events. It is a practical match between a neighborhood festival and a local brewery that is embedded in the same street scene.
