New on Tap

Beer shop Llama has put VERTERE's "Eugenia" on draft. The style is NZ IPA, and the ABV is 7.0%. It makes lavish use of New Zealand hops, layering aromas reminiscent of fig, dried fruit, and muskmelon with a subtle bubblegum nuance. With body coming from malt and lactose, it has a smooth mouthfeel. It's an appealing beer for anyone seeking a juicy, tropical drinking experience.

Current Tap List

In the shop, the following taps are listed in addition to Eugenia.

- Kanpai! "Berry Berry Slope Acai Bowl Smoothie Sour"
- Let's Beer Works "HEFE WEISSE"
- CRAFTROCK "Mountain Beach"
- Let's Beer Works "TIMEFLOW Imperial Sour"
- Shiga Kogen Beer "from scratch"
- KUNITACHI "Kabu"
- Let's Beer Works "LEAN WEST"

The lineup spans a wide range of styles, from fruit-based smoothie sours and classic Hefeweizens to West Coast Pilsner, Imperial Sour, Blonde Ale, IPA, Hazy IPA, and Stout. It makes it easy to drink through the beers while comparing each one's character, and the selection is built so you can choose along your preferred axis, from aroma-driven beers to dark beers with a malty depth.

Beer shop Llama is a beer pub on the first floor of Inoue Building in Shimorenjaku, Mitaka City. It's easy to stop by on foot from the station, and it's the kind of place that's good for casually dropping in for just one drink. If you're going for VERTERE's new tap, it should be fun to compare it with fruit-forward and hop-forward beers and check the differences in aroma.
