In a May 31 post, The Beer Shop Hirakata city introduced four imported beers from Stone Brewing. As a beer pub located at 306, Hirakata Sun Plaza Building No. 3, 12-3 Okahigashicho, Hirakata City, Osaka, the shop that day highlighted a lineup combining a classic American brand with draft beers from domestic breweries.
The Stone lineup consists of the following four bottles:
- Stone IPA: The company’s signature beer, a classic often described as an entry point for IPA fans.
- Stone HAZY IPA: A beer that puts tropical flavors and juiciness front and center.
- Stone Pilsner: A pilsner-style beer from a brewery known for its IPAs.
- Stone Live Current: A limited IPA with notes of tropical fruit, fresh peach, and citrus.
Also announced for the day’s draft lineup were Sapporo Beer’s Black Label, Bank IPA from Craft Bank Brewery (Kyoto), El Clasico, Bitter Bug, and Starwatcher from West Coast Brewing (Shizuoka). The post noted that all of them seemed likely to move quickly, so if there’s a label you’re interested in, it would be best to check it early.
