The brewpub Hinomoto Brewing & Beer Stand in Tokyo’s Komagome announced its business lineup for May 25. In the post, it said, “Open as usual today,” and also mentioned that the glass door at the entrance had been updated, giving the storefront a slightly different look.

Inside, the space is centered on the counter and standing room, making it easy to focus on the beer. The brewery also makes clear that it serves only domestic craft beer, and the setup is better suited to savoring one drink at a time than to sitting down for a full meal.

The day’s “Today’s on Tap” included the following beers:

- Pee Pee Pee / Kveik Pale Ale (Norwegian Farmhouse Ale) 5.5%
- Seiten Raimei #2 / West Coast IPA 7.5%
- Yunosu Saison / Yuzu Sour Saison 6%
- Komagome Brown / Brown Saison 6%
- Komagome Best Bitter / English Best Bitter 4.5%
- EL BAMP HAZY / Hazy IPA 7%
- Kurotobi #4 / Belgian Stout 7%

The lineup spans a wide range of flavors, from the sharply defined hop character of the West Coast IPA to the yuzu-infused sour saison, the lower-ABV Best Bitter, and the Belgian Stout that seems ideal for finishing the night. Along with the Kveik Pale Ale and Brown Saison, one of the day’s highlights is being able to compare beers with very different personalities on the same tap line.

Hours are weekdays from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., and Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.; closed on Wednesdays. As a brewpub within walking distance of Komagome Station, it is easy to stop by after work. It was a lineup suited to people who want to quietly work through the taps and choose their drink for the day.
