What the post showed

Beer Pub Ishii, a craft-beer pub in Sendagi at 3-45-8, Tokyo, shared an Instagram update featuring a small plate of sautéed shiitake mushrooms alongside its current tap lineup. The post opened with Shiga Kogen Beer’s SCHWARTZ!? and NEW ENGI-LAND IPA, then listed Isehara Brewery’s Toretate Green Tea Ale and Sankt Gallen’s Pineapple Ale as the next beers to be tapped.

A four-tap pub

According to the pub’s official site, Beer Pub Ishii has four taps in total, with three rotating each day and one permanent tap reserved for Kirin Heartland. As kegs run out, they are replaced one by one, so the lineup changes from visit to visit. That makes the pub a good place to experience a different combination of Japanese craft beers every time.

Beer and food together

The kitchen offers everything from small snacks to more substantial dishes, so a plate like the shiitake sauté fits naturally into the beer flow. Starting with the two Shiga Kogen beers and moving on to the coming taps from Isehara Brewery and Sankt Gallen gives the night a clear progression. Compact, neighborhood-focused, and built for an easy stop-in pint, it is the kind of pub where one drink can turn into a longer session without trying to be more than it is.
