Yokohama Bay Brewing Totsuka Branch Taps “GO CZECH!”; 10 Taps Now Available
At Yokohama Bay Brewing Totsuka Branch, the Czech-style pilsner “GO CZECH!”, specially brewed for the Czech national baseball team, has been tapped. In a February 27 post, a lineup of 10 taps ranging from classics to more distinctive beers was introduced.
At the beer pub Yokohama Bay Brewing Totsuka Branch in Totsuka Ward, Yokohama, a noteworthy beer has gone on tap. The star of this release is the Czech-style pilsner “GO CZECH!”, said to have been specially brewed for the Czech national baseball team. In the post, it is introduced as a project by Czech brewery Pivovar Matuska, Yokohama Bay Brewing, and the Czech Baseball Association.
Its flavor is described as “lighter than Bay Pilsner, and clean as it looks,” making it a can’t-miss for lager fans. Since it seems designed to be easy to drink without fatigue, it looks like a beer that would work well as either the first pint or a change of pace after a few rounds.
The 10 taps available that day were:
- Bay Pilsner
- Bay Amber
- GO CZECH!
- Bay Dark
- Freedom
- Yuzu Weiss
- Weekend Journey
- Traveler's
- With Friends
- Goooooaaaaal!!!!!
From lagers, ambers, and dark beers to weissbiers and hop-forward labels, the range makes it easy to build a tasting lineup in one place. Choosing your drink while chatting with the staff at the counter is part of the beer-pub experience. If you're in the Totsuka area and wondering what to drink today, it's worth checking the tap list first.
