RIOT BEER in Tokyo’s Setagaya ward announced “Hakko Kaiwai 5” for Thursday, July 9. Located a short walk from Soshigaya-Okura Station, the brewpub is known for malt-forward beers and an easygoing taproom atmosphere.

The headline beers in the post come from Miyazaki Hideji Beer. The lineup includes `Miyazaki Mango Lager`, `Taiyo no Lager`, `Seikan no Pale Ale`, and `Kyushu Craft Hyuganatsu Premium`. The recently introduced `Mukabaki Doppelbock` was already sold out, and `Miyazaki Mango Lager` was said to be down to the last few pours. In other words, guests could expect a range that moves from fruit-leaning lagers to a richer, fuller-bodied dark bock.

Food was also part of the announcement. Two late additions, `Okinawa rafute fried rice` and `rafute bowl`, were scheduled to be served from 4:00 p.m. That makes the event more than a beer release: it is a drink-and-eat setup that fits RIOT BEER’s casual, neighborhood-pub feel.

For beer fans, the appeal is straightforward: a chance to taste Miyazaki Hideji’s lineup alongside RIOT BEER’s relaxed setting, with limited beers likely to move quickly. If the sold-out notes are any sign, this is the kind of tap list worth getting to early.
