At Tachinomi Beer Boy Shibuya PARCO, operating in the basement of Shibuya PARCO, Teenage Brewing’s limited collaboration beers "Yoin" and "Kyomei" are on the menu. This project is a five-way collaboration commemorating Shibuya PARCO’s 6th anniversary, with Tachinomi Beer Boy, Union Record Shibuya, Shibuya PARCO, and Discover Japan Lab. taking part.
"Yoin" is a GOSE that refines a collaboration beer from 2024. It is designed to layer the savory umami of bonito flakes and kombu dashi with a smoky character reminiscent of whisky, and has an alcohol content of 5.0%. "Kyomei" is a SOUR IPA that combines the sweetness of persimmon with cheese flavors and hints of yuzu and black pepper, and has an alcohol content of 7.0%. Both come in 500 ml bottles, and the two offer clearly different flavor directions.
At Tachinomi Beer Boy, there are also plans to pair Kyomei with back ribs coated in a sweet sauce, offering a way to enjoy the beer’s character through food. Since it is located inside Shibuya PARCO, it is easy to stop in for just one drink while shopping or strolling around town. The idea is to enjoy these two limited beers side by side, at the brisk pace unique to standing bars.
