Tap List for March 28

The brewpub "Hinomoto Brewing & Beer Stand" in Honkomagome, Bunkyo Ward, Tokyo, announced a 10-tap lineup along with its business hours for Saturday, March 28, from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The shop is closed on Wednesdays and opens at 3:00 p.m. on weekends and holidays. As a place where you can enjoy mainly Japanese craft beer, this time as well a wide range of styles is on offer.

Today's Lineup

- Kohatu Pale Ale / NZ Pale Ale
- DH Red Ale / Dry Hopped Red Ale
- Sauvin Belgo Brut / Dry Hopped Saison
- Ryusui Soso / Italian Pilsner
- Yuzu Sour Saison
- Black IPA a.k.a. Kuro Hitsuji no Ale / Black IPA (Sanriku Beer collaboration)
- Komagome Brown / Brown Saison
- Komagome Best Bitter / English Best Bitter
- Belgian Hazy IPA a.k.a. Shiro Hitsuji no Ale / Belgian Hazy IPA (Sanriku Beer collaboration)
- Kurotobi #4 / Belgian Stout

From lively styles such as NZ pale ale, dry-hopped red ale, saison, Italian pilsner, and sour saison to best bitter, brown saison, and Belgian stout, the selection offers plenty of room for side-by-side tasting. In particular, Kuro Hitsuji no Ale and Shiro Hitsuji no Ale, introduced as collaborations with Sanriku Beer, seem likely to show a slightly different side from the shop's regular lineup.

Tapas for the Weekend Too

The post also announces "seasonal ingredient tapas" by guest chef Tatsunosuke Taba on Saturday, March 28 and Sunday, March 29. The usual food is centered on kaki pi and dagashi snacks, but this weekend's draw is that you can enjoy it together with proper dishes.

It also says the shop is participating in the Harimazaka Bunkyo Sakura Festival, so you can see springtime activity both in the taproom and at the event booth. For anyone who wants to drink through the styles carefully, it looks set to be a day with plenty of reasons to stop by.
