Kiuchi Brewery is rolling out 'Hitachino Nest Daisy Ale,' with G-DRAGON as its global ambassador. After an initial launch in Korea, sales in Japan began on January 20, 2026 at Lawson, the official online shop, and directly operated stores.
Brewing
This beer is a flavored ale made with floral herbal tea and honey. It is a 350 ml can with an alcohol content of 5.0%, layering the soft aroma of chamomile with the bright aroma of hops. It is presented on the product page as a golden ale, making it approachable even for people not used to craft beer.
Kiuchi Brewery's background
Kiuchi Brewery is a long-established company founded in Bunsei 6 (1823), and began brewing Hitachino Nest Beer in 1996. In 2020, it opened the Yaso Distillery in Ishoka City, Ibaraki Prefecture, expanding its business into beer, sake, and whiskey. This Daisy Ale is positioned as a collaboration that overlays the brewing techniques passed down for more than 200 years with the daisy-themed worldview symbolized by G-DRAGON.
A pop-up store was also held in Omotesando, Tokyo, in February, creating an offering that lets visitors enjoy not only the product itself but also the brand's background and design. As a bottle with a different character from the standard Hitachino Nest Beer, it presents Kiuchi Brewery's new proposal.
