A craft beer evening one minute from Isesaki Station

TEGAMISHA BREWERY’s brewer will return to his hometown of Isesaki, Gunma, for a CRAFT BEER FAIR at Saiko no Ichinichi on Monday, September 21. The event starts at 5:00 p.m., with admission priced at ¥7,000 including tax.

The main attraction is an all-you-can-drink selection of TEGAMISHA BREWERY craft beer. The source announcement does not specify individual beer names or styles, but the beers from the brewery pub in Chofu, Tokyo, will be served alongside a specially prepared buffet.

A reunion built around beer and food

The food will be prepared by Takasu, head chef of plaza arria. He and TEGAMISHA BREWERY’s brewer were high-school rugby teammates, and the event marks the return of their collaboration after about two years.

The buffet is set to include mini tacos with avocado and salmon, taco meat, or ham and cheese; seaweed-scented potatoes; fried chicken with two sauces; shrimp and mushroom ajillo; handmade pork shumai and bamboo-leaf chimaki. Other dishes include sautéed swordfish, beer-braised Akagi chicken with autumn vegetables, linguine Bolognese, and roast beef sushi made with Niigata beef. Seasonal fruit Macedonia, pumpkin pudding, and petit tarts will round out the meal.

Saiko no Ichinichi is located at 29-1 Kita-machi, Isesaki, just a one-minute walk from Isesaki Station. Reservations are accepted by phone at 0270-75-1717 through September 20. A small number of seats are reportedly still available.
