Two new taps
CRAFT BEER MARKET Kichijoji Pennylane has added two new beers to its lineup: Hime Beer SAISON YUZU and Johana Beer Blood Orange.
SAISON YUZU is described as a crisp, easy-drinking saison with noticeable acidity. It sounds like a light, refreshing choice for starting a session. Blood Orange, meanwhile, is presented as a fruit beer that should also appeal to drinkers who do not usually gravitate toward bitter beers.
What the venue offers
The venue is a beer pub built around craft beer and dumplings. According to the shop information, it serves 30 rotating craft beers daily and offers more than six kinds of house-made dumplings. There are also food pairings such as snacks that work well with drinks, plus four kinds of spice curry.
Located in central Kichijoji, the shop works as an easy stop for lunch, afternoon drinks, or dinner. On weekdays it opens for lunch and dinner service, while weekends and holidays run from 11:00 to 23:00. Takeout is also available, so the beers and food can be enjoyed on-site or to go.
Drinking impression
These two new beers make for a straightforward, approachable guest-beer update. SAISON YUZU offers a citrus-leaning saison option, while Blood Orange brings a fruitier, less bitter path. Paired with dumplings or snacks, the lineup fits the venue’s beer-and-food style well.
