At Onaji Anano Mujina in Sannomiya, Kobe, a special guest beer featuring Oni Densetsu’s Kinki was introduced.

The shop is a craft beer taproom that serves fresh beers selected from breweries in Japan and abroad on tap. In its shop guide, it highlights labels such as Y.Market Brewing and Oni Densetsu as representative offerings, and it is known for creating a hideaway-like space where craft beer fans naturally gather.

This time’s Kinki is a special release using CGX instead of the usual hop pellets. CGX is a material made by concentrating lupulin derived from hops, and in the post it is described as having an aroma packed with "peach, grass, and hops." The palate is drier than expected, with the impression of peach standing out, followed by a crisp bitterness at the finish. It was also reported that a grassy note on the nose and a toasty character that lingers in the mouth remain as the aftertaste.

This is a beer that builds on Kinki’s signature sharp bitterness while layering in the concentrated character unique to CGX. It is especially appealing for people who want to fully enjoy hop aroma. For a night in Sannomiya when you want to take your time savoring your first pint, this is the kind of guest beer worth checking out.
