Four Draft Beers Offered at Chiitoko Shoten in Shimosuwa; Pineapple Ale Also on Tap
At "Dagashi, Beer, and Coffee Shop Chiitoko Shoten" in Shimosuwa Town, Nagano Prefecture, four draft beers were introduced along with its business hours of 10:00-22:00. As a shop that also carries dagashi, light meals, and coffee, it offers ways to enjoy the space beyond beer alone.
The Dagashi, Beer, and Coffee Shop Chiitoko Shoten in Shimosuwa Town, Suwa District, Nagano Prefecture, was open with business hours of 10:00-22:00 and shared its draft lineup for the day.
The draft beers on offer were four varieties: Minoh Beer "Pale Ale", Kyoto Brewing "Reviving Eagle - Hoppy Kolsch -", Sankt Gallen "Pineapple Ale", and Shiga Kogen Beer "No. 10 - No. 10 Anniversary IPA -". From a standard pale ale to a hop-forward kolsch, a fruity pineapple ale, and a full-bodied anniversary IPA, the lineup brought together a clear range of flavors.
Chiitoko Shoten is distinctive for its arrangement, with dagashi lined up at the storefront, and in addition to beer and coffee, it also offers casual sweets and light snacks. This post also highlighted treats such as brownies, scones, shortbread, and homemade ice cream, giving the impression that even while the focus is craft beer, it is a place that's easy to stop by from daytime through the evening.
The draft beer and bottled beer are also available for takeout, so in addition to enjoying a drink in the shop, you can pick a favorite label and drink it again at home. In Shimosuwa, this is a spot worth noting as a place where the friendliness of a dagashi shop and the fun of craft beer can be enjoyed at the same time.
