At Chiitoko Shoten, located in Motomachi-shita, Shimosuwa, Sanktgallen’s Pineapple Ale was tapped. True to its name, the shop blends dagashi, craft beer, and coffee in one approachable space. It also includes a raised seating area and a nursing space, making it easy to stop by with children as well.

Draft lineup

- Pineapple Ale / Sanktgallen
- Pale Ale / Minoh Beer
- Yomigaeru Washi ~Hoppy Kolsch~ / Kyoto Brewing
- Sono Ten ~No.10 Anniversary IPA~ / Shiga Kogen Beer

The lineup covers a wide range: a fruit-forward ale, a clean pale ale, a hoppy Kölsch, and a firmly bitter anniversary IPA. It is an easy set to explore if you want to compare different Japanese craft styles in one visit.

Between beers, you can snack on dagashi, or switch to homemade sweets and coffee. The shop is open from 10:00 to 22:00, with coffee last order at 19:00 and other last orders at 21:30. For beer drinkers in Shimosuwa, it works both as a craft beer stop and as a relaxed place to pause while walking around town.
