Brewery 1876, located at the Sapporo Kaitakushi Beer Brewery in Sapporo Factory, will host a release event for Sapporo Classic Furano VINTAGE 2026, the seasonal autumn edition of Sapporo Beer’s Hokkaido-focused lager.
Titled “A Talk About This Year’s Furano VINTAGE,” the event will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. The first hour is scheduled as a lecture, followed by an hour of all-you-can-drink beer from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. Guests can enjoy both Sapporo Classic Furano VINTAGE and Sapporo Classic, offering a chance to compare the limited seasonal release with the brewery’s established flagship beer.
The venue is the second floor of the Sapporo Kaitakushi Beer Brewery Museum. Admission is ¥2,500, tax included, and advance reservations are not required.
The event will be hosted by Sakumaki of Maltheads, a beer and malt whisky pub formerly located near Sapporo’s Tanukikoji area. Although Maltheads has ended its storefront operations, Sakumaki continues working with Sapporo Beer Garden and remains active in beer-related events.
This is the second edition of the Furano VINTAGE release celebration, following last year’s event. With a Saturday schedule, the gathering offers beer enthusiasts an accessible opportunity to learn more about the seasonal beer while enjoying two Sapporo Classic expressions in the historic setting of Brewery 1876.
