A weekend event centered on an Awaji Island brewery

At the beer pub "The Beer Shop Hirakata city" in Hirakata, Osaka, Monday, April 20 is a regular closing day. On the shop's Instagram, it is announcing an event this weekend that will prominently feature Awaji Island brewery "Naminoto Brewing."

In this event, they plan to line up about nine draft beers, as well as many canned beers. It is designed to offer a wide range of beer options, so craft beer fans should also enjoy comparing different pours. Although individual brand names have not yet been announced, the brewery name is being front and center, so it should be a chance to enjoy the distinctive character of Naminoto Brewing all at once.

There are clear highlights beyond beer as well. They will prepare a large amount of onions, one of Awaji Island's symbols, and recreate the famous "onion UFO catcher." In addition, the announcement says onions will also be included among the prizes in the garapon lottery, so the event has a playful setup that does not end with just drinking. Food will also be served, making it easy to spend time snacking lightly with beer.

Also, Mr. Kono of Naminoto Brewing is scheduled to visit on the second day, Sunday the 26th. The chance to hear directly from the brewer should also be one of the event's attractions.

"The Beer Shop Hirakata city" is a beer pub located at 12-3 Okahigashicho, Hirakata City, Osaka Prefecture, Hirakata Sun Plaza Building No. 3, Room 306. Its station-connected location makes it easy to drop by, and it fits neatly into an after-work drink or weekend beer. As a local event connecting an Awaji Island brewery with drinkers in Hirakata, it deserves attention.
