Yose, a beer pub in Yoyogi, Tokyo, has announced its July event schedule. The main highlight is Saturday, July 4, when the venue hosts "Ise, Summer Triangle." Producers and specialty shops from Ise, Mie Prefecture will gather at Yose, and the event will celebrate the release of Fruits Scandal, a fruit ale co-produced by craft brewery Himitsu Beer and sake brewery Motozaka Shuzo, founded in 1805.
Also joining the event in a stall-style setup is Yakitori Nikawa, a well-known eatery from Ise. The format suggests an easygoing afternoon built around beer and yakitori, with a focus on the story behind the collaboration beer as well as the regional makers involved.
The next event takes place on Monday, July 13: "Kendo @ Yose." This session marks the first appearance at Yose of Nonogushi Shurijo, operated by Kendo Co., Ltd. The project is known for handling everything from sweet potato cultivation to shochu production, and visitors will be able to taste its shochu while hearing directly from representative Kentaro Yagi about the distillery’s launch and its approach to making spirits.
Located just a three-minute walk from Sangubashi Station, Yose operates as a beer pub at 3-38-10 Yoyogi, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo. Regular hours are 11:30 to 23:00, and weekdays also include a value-focused "senbero" offering available until 4 p.m. In July, Yose is lining up events that move from a craft beer release celebration to a shochu-focused tasting, giving beer fans and drink enthusiasts a reason to keep an eye on the venue.
