Four Nomcraft cans arrive at 444 BEYOND

Four canned beers from Nomcraft Brewing (Wakayama Prefecture) have arrived at the beer pub "444 BEYOND" in Higashimizue, Edogawa-ku, Tokyo. The post announced the arrival as Tuesday, April 28, and they can be enjoyed in-house from 16:00 to 22:00, with last order at 21:30.

This lineup features four bottles with very different personalities, from lager to hazy IPA.

- Nomcraft Lager
style: Helles / ABV 4.5%
A house lager that was reportedly well received at the Japan Brewers Cup 2024 as well. Grainy notes reminiscent of nuts and toast are layered with a soft hop aroma.
- Momonga Bongos
style: Hazy Pale Ale / ABV 5.5%
A beer that uses four kinds of hops and brings tropical and stone fruit elements to the forefront. Its body keeps sweetness in check, making it easy to drink without fatigue.
- Dinosaur Zoo
style: Double IPA / ABV 8.0%
A semi-regular release that adds modern elements to a classic American DIPA. It is characterized by dank aromas, fruitiness, and a subtle caramel malt note.
- Mystic Tiger
style: Hazy IPA / ABV 7.0%
A hazy IPA with the refreshing feel of mango lemonade and a smooth fruitiness. Its moderate sweetness makes it easy to keep drinking.

"444 BEYOND" is a spot framed by pistachio-colored walls, making it an easy stop for craft beer fans in the Mizue area. Moves like this one, lining up a broad range of styles in cans, work well both for a first drink before a meal and for a longer tasting session. It is an approachable lineup that makes it easy to start with a lager, expand the aroma with a hazy beer, and finish with a DIPA.

Along with the history-enthusiast tone of the post, another notable point is that it conveys the owner’s recent updates and the atmosphere surrounding the sourcing. Even if you visit for the beer, it is the kind of place where you can also enjoy the conversation and the mood of the bar itself.
