Four beers arrive from Wakayama

At "The Beer Shop Hirakata city," on the third floor of Hirakata Sun Plaza Building No. 3 in Okahigashi-cho, Hirakata City, Osaka Prefecture, four beers arrived from Wakayama's NOMCRAFT BREWING in connection with a post on May 13. The shop said it planned to tap a keg during business hours, making the day's tap changes part of the fun.

The arrivals, from left, are:

- Moon Calendar
A collaboration with Aslan Brewing Company. A West Coast-style IPA brewed with only pilsner malt, featuring sharpness, crispness, and light bitterness.
- Octopus King
A Dip Hop IPA that combines juiciness with a clean finish.
- Buffalo Bandit
An IPA with a strong grapefruit character and a well-balanced mix of bitterness and juiciness.
- Dinosaur Zoo
A double IPA introduced as a semi-regular offering. Its fruity aroma and moderate caramel notes are the highlights.

In addition to NOMCRAFT's four beers, the tap list for the day also included Sapporo Beer / Black Label, Naminooto Brewing (Hyogo) / Old Rookie 3, Hirakata Beer (Osaka) / Session Citra White, and Naminooto Brewing (Hyogo) / Still Dreaming 2. From major-brand staples to distinctive local brewery offerings, the lineup makes it possible to compare a wide range of beers all in one place.

The Beer Shop Hirakata city is appealing not only because you can buy beer to take home, but also because you can drink standing up on the spot. Its station-close third-floor location makes it easy to stop in for just one drink after work, and beer fans can enjoy keeping up with tap updates. A day like this, with a sizable NOMCRAFT lineup, seems like a great chance to compare different styles and taste profiles.
