Event Overview

CARVAAN BREWERY is a brewpub in Ogawara, Hanno City, Saitama Prefecture. Located overlooking the Hanno River valley, it is known for its Arabian-inspired interior, Mediterranean and Arabic cuisine, and its own craft beer. This announcement offers a way to experience the world of CARVAAN through the brewery, distillery, and restaurant as a whole.

Beers Available

CARVAAN BREWERY's standard beers include Spelt Weizen, made with ancient wheat; Arabian Lime Ale, with lime peel and cardamom aroma; Caravan Belgian White, made with Egyptian coriander and Hanno-grown yuzu peel; and Andes Cacao Stout, made with cacao from the foothills of the Andes. The tour is designed so guests can enjoy these freshly made craft beers in small pours, with the background behind the flavors included in the experience.

Experience Flow

On the tour, you first take an in-house tour and get a feel for details of the space such as furnishings and lamps, then you visit the production areas of the brewery and distillery. By seeing not only the finished products but also the ingredients and brewing process, it becomes easier to appreciate the craftsmanship behind each glass.

After the tour, you'll move on to a Mediterranean and Arabic lunch course. From appetizer to main dish to dessert, the experience conveys CARVAAN's emphasis on "experiencing food, drink, and space as one." The interior, where Hanno's nature and a sense of foreignness coexist, makes the time spent drinking beer feel a little more special.

Points for Beer Lovers

What makes this place interesting is that it doesn't present beer on its own, but rather offers the background of the ingredients and the worldview along with it. CARVAAN BREWERY is known for brewing inspired by history and culture, and at the Hanno Main Store, that philosophy can be experienced in a layered way through the tour and meal. For anyone wanting to understand the brewery's personality, it seems like an experience that lets you see beyond the glass.
