BMB Brewery gives 10-day notice for April 18 "Sasebo Quay Bar" event
Miyazaki-based BMB Brewery announced on Instagram that there are 10 days left until "Sasebo Quay Bar with Japanet Cruise," which will be held at Sasebo Port on April 18. The venue is expected to feature Kyushu craft beers, alcohol from within Nagasaki Prefecture, and food and beverage vendors.
On April 8, BMB Brewery posted on Instagram that there were 10 days left until the "Sasebo Quay Bar with Japanet Cruise" event. According to an announcement from Sasebo City, the event will be held on Saturday, April 18, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Portside Park in front of the JR Sasebo Station Minato Exit.
This event is a recurring program held in conjunction with cruise ship port calls, and this will be the fourth edition. About 25 vendors are expected to line the venue, bringing together craft beers from across Kyushu as well as sake, wine, shochu, gin, and food and beverage vendors from within Nagasaki Prefecture. Sasebo City expects about 10,000 visitors, and the MSC Bellissima (Japanet Cruise) is scheduled to call at the port from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. that day.
BMB Brewery is a craft brewery based in Miyazaki City. It began brewing in Jingu, Miyazaki City, in November 2018, and completed a new brewery in Kiyotake Town in July 2024.
