An Instagram post from Shiga Kogen Beer announced a one-day-only event at THE FARMHOUSE on Saturday, April 18. The star of the event is a DOGFISH HEAD × OXBOW × Shiga Kogen Beer three-way collaboration that was brewed this January. Of the two beers brewed, one is expected to be completed soon, and the event will be held to coincide with its release.

THE FARMHOUSE, the venue, is a store that was temporarily closed at the end of last year. Since the arrival of a new manager, preparations for reopening are currently underway, but this event is positioned as a special opening held during that transition. The post says the hours are planned for around 12:00 to 18:00, with further details to be announced later.

The beers planned to be served will center on the new collaboration release, along with OXBOW beers, DFH (DOGFISH HEAD) beers, and Shiga Kogen Beer. The brand names have not yet been revealed, but the lineup looks likely to be the kind of collaboration-themed selection that lets you enjoy the context of two overseas breweries and Shiga Kogen all at once.

On the food side, the sake brewer's salt-koji fried chicken is scheduled to make a one-day-only return. The Kanbayashi area, where THE FARMHOUSE is located, typically overlaps with cherry blossom season, making it a perfect time to relax with a glass in hand in springtime Yamanouchi. Since no reservation is required, it is an easy event to add to a Nagano craft beer tour.
