The Cat & Cask Tavern rotates three draft beers on April 28
At the house-style beer pub The Cat & Cask Tavern in Kanamecho, Tokyo, the draft beer lineup for April 28 was updated. Three beers from Kameido Beer and Minoh are on the board, and this week the pub is operating without real ale.
Tokyo's The Cat & Cask Tavern is a craft beer pub in a standalone house that carries a British atmosphere. It offers a quietly relaxing space, and Japanese craft beer is served through three handpump taps and three draft taps.
Drafts for April 28
In the announcement for the day, the pub said the draft beer lineup would be rotated to the following three selections.
- Kameido Beer Suijin Pale Ale
- Minoh Nice Bitter
- Minoh Session Black IPA
All of them are listed as "remaining ?????," so anyone who wants to drink them should probably come early. Also, real ale is off this week, so this time the lineup is centered on draft beer.
Business hours are Wednesday through Saturday, 18:00 to 22:00. Food last order is 21:00, beer last order is 21:30, parties are limited to up to four people per group, and the pub asks guests to use cash on delivery. In a calm interior, it is a perfect setup for comparing a bitter, a pale ale, and a black IPA in order.
The announcement also says the pub will keep regular hours throughout Golden Week, regardless of holidays. On the other hand, it will be closed for a substitute holiday from Wednesday, May 13 to Saturday, May 16. If you're looking for a leisurely drink in Kanamecho, it would be best to check the opening days and tap changes before visiting.
