A tap takeover by VERTERE and Totopia Brewery will be held at BEER PUB BRICK LANE in Fushimi, Nagoya. According to public information, the lineup will feature 10 taps in all, including collaboration beers from both breweries. In a beer-pub atmosphere, guests can enjoy side-by-side tasting.
At BEER PUB BRICK LANE in Fushimi, Nagoya, a VERTERE TTO will be held. The public announcement says it is scheduled for Saturday, June 28, from 14:00 to 23:00, with a total of 10 taps, including VERTERE x Totopia collaboration beers.
Two collaboration labels have been confirmed this time: Totopia Brewery's "Filmyphilia" and VERTERE's "Terminusphobia". Filmyphilia is a DH Sour IPA, while Terminusphobia is a West Coast Lager, so even within the same collaboration project, the flavor design differs, making comparison tasting especially interesting. The former is introduced as a sour style with fruity and herbal nuances, while the latter uses pilsner malt and rice and is presented as a lager that brings hop aroma to the forefront.
BEER PUB BRICK LANE is a beer pub known as Totopia Brewery's directly operated shop. Inside the venue in Nishiki, Naka Ward, Nagoya, there is the pleasure of choosing a beer while looking over the taps, and it also pairs well with burger-style food. Its setup, which lets craft beer take center stage while still enjoying a meal alongside it, is a good match for tap takeovers like this one.
On the day, while the two collaboration beers will be the focus, it will also be interesting to see what other VERTERE and Totopia beers fill out the remaining taps. For beer lovers, this is an event worth noting as a chance to sample the current character of both breweries together in Nagoya.
