The brewpub "Hinomoto Brewing & Beer Stand" in Komagome, Tokyo, has announced its business hours for Thursday, May 21, from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. The shop is on the first floor of Greenpia Honkomagome in Honkomagome, Bunkyo Ward, and its taproom offers mainly house-made beer along with Japanese craft beer.

In this post, seven of the 10 beers on tap were revealed. The lineup consists of Pe-Pe-Pe (Kveik Pale Ale / Norwegian Farmhouse Ale), Seiten Raimei #2 (West Coast IPA), Yunosu Saison (Yuzu Sour Saison), Komagome Brown (Brown Saison), Komagome Best Bitter (English Best Bitter), EL BAMP HAZY (Hazy IPA), and Kurotobi #4 (Belgian Stout). From farmhouse styles and IPA to saison, bitter, hazy, and stout, the range of flavors is one of the main draws.

A key feature of the bar is that, thanks to having a brewery attached, guests can compare and taste "house beer you can drink right now." With a casual counter and standing-room-oriented atmosphere, it is easy to drop in for everyday use, while the beer itself still has a strong sense of character. The food leans toward light snacks, so the best way to drink there may be to start with a crisp pale ale or saison, then move on to IPA and stout after that.

For anyone who wants to drink in Komagome while checking the day's tap lineup, May 21 looks like a date worth noting.
