This Day’s Taps

The lineup includes six beers. It is a well-rounded selection, ranging from beers with a clear hop profile to those with fruity character and a light, easy-drinking finish.

- Fiction / Hop Kotan
A West Coast Pale Ale. It has a tropical, juicy aroma from double dry hopping, with bitterness kept in check.
- Hidden Tresure XPA / Shiokaze Brewing
An XPA with an impressive sweet aroma that feels like a blend of fruit, plus herbal and floral notes.
- Fruit Basket IPA / Romantic Village
A single-hop IPA made exclusively with Citra. Its grapefruit- and lime-like citrus character and crisp bitterness are its hallmarks.
- Ruby / Karuizawa Q
A fruit ale made with raspberries and blueberries. Berry flavor spreads through its light body.
- Meguri / Karuizawa Q
A Yuzu Saison layered with yuzu and fresh dill. You can enjoy its soft citrus aroma and clean finish.
- Getsubu - Moonwalk - / THE KICHI
An original beer brewed in collaboration with Want a Beer. As a West Coast Pilsner, it comes forward with bright citrus character and a sharp bitterness.

Food Is Strong Too

On the food side, the menu features spring-like dishes centered on seafood, including tagliata of never-bred beef strip loin, porgy carpaccio with blood orange from Bungo, Oita, bonito carpaccio from Kagoshima, fried whiting with lemon mayo, fried firefly squid, firefly squid marinara pizza, and firefly squid spaghetti. For vegetables, there is also roasted vegetables from Ohi-Sama Farm with romesco sauce, making it easy to build pairings with beer.

For dessert, in addition to a new item, panna cotta with homemade pistachio ice cream and Tochiaika strawberries, there is also homemade ricotta and pistachio cake and bonet.

This is one place to put on your list if you want to spend a long, leisurely day in Utsunomiya enjoying beer and food from noon onward. The post’s hashtags include Utsunomiya daytime drinking and pet-friendly, suggesting a relaxed, easygoing atmosphere.
