Tap Info

On Wednesday, April 1, KARAKURI -Craft Beer & Oden & Sake- will feature "Lime Time / karuizawaQ×T.Y.Harbor" as its guest beer. This saison uses domestic limes grown on islands in the Seto Inland Sea, and is characterized by the fresh citrus aroma created by its juice and peel, the mineral character that comes from the lime, and its sharp finish. The spice notes from the saison yeast layer on top, resulting in a brew that is light on its feet yet distinctly defined.

Also on tap is "GOOD AFTERNOON / T.Y.Harbor". The post says it is "hard to drink anywhere other than T.Y.HARBOR," and introduces it as a beer worth encountering here. A key highlight of this lineup is the chance to compare Lime Time, centered on vivid citrus and drinkability, with another of the brewery’s staple pours.

About the Shop

KARAKURI is a beer pub in the basement level of Kanda Kajicho. It offers craft beer, sake, and natural wine, along with creative dishes centered on oden. Rather than a place that ends with beer alone, it has an atmosphere where you can relax and enjoy a meal, making it easier to appreciate the personality of each guest beer in fuller detail.

The shop also includes a bottle selection area, so you can take home a bottle you like. Business hours are 17:00 to 23:00, with Food L.O. at 22:00, some items such as fried dishes at 21:30, and Drink L.O. at 22:30. It is an easy fit for both the first beer of April 1 and a final drink at the end of the night.

A Beer for This Kind of Day

This lineup should suit people who want to really feel the aroma of lime, those who prefer the dry finish typical of saisons, and anyone wanting to try a tap-only T.Y.Harbor label. It is the kind of night where you can pair it with oden or snacks and enjoy comparing how the aromas lift and how each beer drinks.
