Novel Craft reports limited 750 ml bottles of Cave d'Occi collab beer Reflection
Novel Craft, a beer pub in Minamikarasuyama, Setagaya, Tokyo, is announcing that only a few 750 ml bottles remain of "Reflection," a collaboration beer with CAVE D'OCCI BREWING. It is a barrel-aged saison with NZ hop aromatics and white-wine barrel character.
Limited bottles announced at 17:00 opening
Novel Craft, a beer pub in Minamikarasuyama, Setagaya, Tokyo, is featuring "Reflection," a collaboration beer with CAVE D'OCCI BREWING. In the post, the shop notes a 17:00 opening and says only a small number of 750 ml bottles remain.
A barrel-aged saison
"Reflection" is a barrel-aged saison at 5% ABV. It combines the aroma of New Zealand hops with notes from white-wine barrel aging, giving the beer a saison-like lightness with a wine-influenced layer underneath. Because it is bottle-conditioned, the beer should continue to evolve in the glass as well.
First unveiled on June 13
The beer was first presented at the Cave d'Occi Tap Take Over on June 13. With half of the batch sent to keg and the rest bottled, availability is naturally limited. That makes it a fitting beer for a pub like Novel Craft, where drinkers can compare draft and bottle expressions in one place.
About the venue
Novel Craft is a beer pub built around craft beer, and that focus makes it easy for beer fans to encounter different styles and formats in a single visit. When a winery-linked brewery collaboration or a barrel-aged bottle lands on the list, it adds another reason to stop by in southern Tokyo.
