Service update

Andbeer Koenji Taproom was open from 11:30 to 22:00 on July 25. While the day was divided into lunch, idle time, and dinner service, beer takeaway was available from 10:00 to 22:00. Guests could take beer home in PET bottles, plastic cups, or growlers.

The featured beer

The recommended beer for the day was Kanjin Lager. It is a limited collaboration beer with Hacco Department Yamanashi, brewed with Koshihikari rice grown in the Kanjin area of Kofu City, Yamanashi Prefecture. According to the post, the rice is cooked once before brewing, leaving a subtle rice aroma and creating a clean, refreshing lager.

A brewpub built around food and beer

Andbeer is a brewpub in Koenji, Tokyo, and the post also laid out the day’s food menu. The evening offerings included three-five-eight pickled chicken biryani, beef choshu in Japanese dashi, and Gujo miso keema curry, along with dishes such as fries with fermented mayo, sand gizzard confit with fish sauce koji, soy-mirin chicken wings, shrimp and yam with herb breadcrumb, corn karaage with garlic butter, and sweet-and-sour pork belly.

That mix makes the venue easy to use from lunch through dinner, especially for drinkers who want food alongside their beer. The terrace is pet-friendly for dogs and cats, and the shop accepts reservations by phone or official LINE. It is also set up for takeaway and Uber Eats, making it a flexible stop for craft beer and a proper meal in Koenji.
