The brewpub “Hinomoto Brewing & Beer Stand” in Hongomagome, Bunkyo Ward, has announced its hours for Tuesday, March 17. Business hours are 5:00 p.m. to around 11:00 p.m. In its post, the shop framed it as a chance to enjoy a weekday night pint before its regular Wednesday closing day.

The venue specializes in Japanese craft beer, with a strong focus on beers brewed in-house and seasonal selections. This time’s “Today’s on Tap” lineup offers 10 taps, spanning not only hop-forward pale ales and IPAs, but also sour-leaning saisons and even a stout.

Tap List for March 17

- Kohatu Pale Ale (NZ Pale Ale / 5.5%)
- DH Red Ale (Dry Hopped Red Ale / 5.5%)
- Sauvin Belgo Brut (Dry Hopped Saison / 7%)
- Ryusososo (Italian Pilsner / 5.5%)
- Yuzu Sour Saison (6%)
- Black IPA a.k.a. Black Sheep Ale (Black IPA / 7%) Sanriku Beer collaboration
- Komagome Brown (Brown Saison / 6%)
- Seiten Raimei (West Coast IPA / 7.5%)
- Belgian Hazy IPA a.k.a. White Sheep Ale (Belgian Hazy IPA / 6.5%) Sanriku Beer collaboration
- Kurotobi #4 (Belgian Stout / 7%)

The lineup is designed to be easygoing in true beer-stand fashion, while also making it well suited to tasting side by side. If you want bitterness and a crisp finish, the Italian Pilsner or West Coast IPA are good picks. If you want to enjoy yeast-driven character, go for the Belgo Brut or Belgian Hazy IPA. And if you are after roasted notes, the Belgian Stout looks like the obvious choice.
