Beer Pub Ishii taps Let's Beer Works and three more, with four beers waiting next
Beer Pub Ishii in Sendagi posted a tap update on July 22 featuring four beers now on tap: Let's Beer Works, Oni Densetsu Beer, Songbird, and Kanpai! Brewing. Four more beers were listed as coming up, showing the pub's constantly rotating lineup.
Beer Pub Ishii is a small craft beer pub on Yomise-dori in Sendagi, Tokyo. According to the pub's website, three of its four taps rotate daily, while the permanent tap is Kirin Heartland. That setup means the lineup can change from visit to visit, which is part of the appeal.
In the July 22 post, the beers currently on tap were:
- Let's Beer Works, "Wonton Hazy IPA"
- Oni Densetsu Beer, "Kinki Pale Ale"
- Songbird, "L'orage - Le Orage -"
- Kanpai! Brewing, "Tamaran-zaka Hazy IPA"
The post also listed four beers as coming up next: North Island "Sour Ale," Shiga Kogen Beer "from scratch / a blonde ale," Hopkotan Brewing "Ongoing," and Miyatabeer "Golden Ale." The mix leans toward hop-forward and expressive styles, but the rotation is the real story here: once a keg kicks, the next beer steps in.
Beer Pub Ishii works well as an easy stop for a single pint, but it also suits a slower session with a small group. The food menu changes with the day, and can include house pickles, fish and chips, pork rillettes, sausages, and taco rice. That makes it a practical pub as well as a beer destination.
The post also notes that Izakaya AYAYA will be operating on August 10 and 11 from 18:00 to 23:00. For beer drinkers, the best part is watching the tap list evolve as each keg moves from "on tap" to "coming up."
